#LetThemLeave – Praying for Miracle!

Welcome to Engage issue No. 21. This week we celebrate the return of our young missionaries Tawanda Chandiwana and Adam Shaw. However, Miracle Osman remains in the Philippines.

Thomas Kemper, general secretary of Global Ministries, expressed his appreciation as the Philippine Bureau of Immigration decided to allow Tawanda Chandiwana and Adam Shaw to leave the Philippines and return to their families.

While we celebrate the successful end to their journey, please keep Miracle Osman close in prayer. Miracle has been approved to leave the country, and we anticipate an official update very soon. To receive updates, please take time to follow Global Ministries on Facebook.

Act Now! Help Miracle Leave the Philippines!
We continue to encourage individual online activism by signing the #LetThemLeave petition and sharing it on social media. The goals of #LetThemLeave could not have happened without your prayers and actions. Two missionaries have been reunited with their families, and more than 16,000 (and counting) have signed the petition.

Tawanda, Adam
and Miracle were in the Philippines fulfilling their commission to show God’s love in the world. Each loves the people of the Philippines and had become a part of the communities they were serving. As United Methodist missionaries, they were taking the gospel of Jesus Christ and standing up for those who have been threatened.

We are grateful to you for your support.
