Prelude

Greeting/Welcome

Call to Worship

Leader: Jesus Christ is raised in glory.
People: Christ sits on the throne at the right hand of God.
Leader: Come, let us worship and bow down to the Lord our Creator.
People: Let us offer praise to Christ our Redeemer. AMEN.

Opening Prayer (Unison)

We come this day, rejoicing, in the presence of Jesus Christ. At his birth the angels proclaimed his name to be Emmanuel, God with us. Today in this place, in this time of worship, may we truly feel the power and presence of Jesus Christ in our lives. May our hearts and spirits be warmed and challenged to proclaim with our lives, “Christ is Lord!”. AMEN.

Opening Hymn

Majesty, Worship His Majesty

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Affirmation of Faith

Leader: This is the good news which we have received, in which we stand, and by which we are saved.

People: Christ died for our sins, was buried, was raised on the third day, and appeared first to the women, then to Peter and the Twelve, and then to many faithful witnesses.

We believe Jesus is the Christ, the Anointed One of God, the firstborn of all creation, in whom all things hold together, in whom the fullness of God was pleased to dwell by the power of the Spirit.

Christ is the head of the body, the church, and by the blood of the cross reconciles all things to God. Amen.
